Manga Recommendations Part 2

1. Darwin's Game

Similar to Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) a video Game App that can not be deleted starts a survival game and gives special powers.

With no way to quit or drop out of the game there is only one choice. To continue and try to win in order to unravel the mystery behind the origin and purpose of the App.

2. Sun Ken Rock 

Written by Boichi who is renown for his art work on Dr. Stone. The story follows ken who is recruited to become the boss of a gang. quickly rising up in reputation as the strongest gang in the underground world of crime.

Similar to black lagoon although Ken is only motivated by a strong sense of justice and taking down bad guys. 

3. Life Is Money 

         It's a  dark gambling tournament for a chance to win a high cash prize.

The limit of sanity is tested for those who are desperate for riches.

4. Historie

Created by the same author who made Parasyte. Based on ancient Greek and Roman civilization it revolves around historical figures such as Alexander the Great and Aristotle.

5. Gantz

 a science fiction based seinen following kei kurono who after dying awakes in a room and given a super suit as well as advanced technological weaponry upon given orders to hunt down aliens.

Others after dying find themselves in the same room having to cooperate together in order to fight the ever increasingly strong enemies they face. 

  Encountering a wide variety of opponents including mutants, stone statues, aliens, vampires, etc. 

6. Alice in Borderland (Imawa no Kuni no Alice)

Another psychological manga like No Game No Life. Transported to a post apocalyptic world After the main character makes a wish while observing fireworks. 

I don't want to spoil it but I will say that the ending has a very interesting plot twist.

7. Vagabond

The author Takehiko Inoue famously known for the sports manga Slam Dunk. Created Vagabond a historical manga following the story of the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi. 

Despite being on a extended hiatus with no completed ending in sight. the amazing level of illustration makes this a must read.

Manga Recommendations

Underrated Manga 

Starting in no particular order

1.  Samurai Deeper Kyo

The manga is great, the anime unfortunately not so much.

    

     2.  Battle royal 

A very brutal one, basically students on a island given weapons and fight for survival. 

   3.  Gyo

  One of the few Horror manga that is very good if your looking for something spooky.

     

   4.  Berserk

This one kinda goes without saying.You should already know and if not then I feel sorry for you.

The anime and movies are good however really do not do the manga justice.

5. Excel Saga

Very similar to gintama being a comedy manga except more random.

6. Jojo bizarre adventure

Just recently becoming more popular this manga is very unique being that the story line follows generations rather than a single main character, and each part has a separate story line.

Black Clover anime review

Black Clover

Recent 2017 anime brand new on the block. At first glance Black Clover seems to be a unoriginal generic anime that has been criticized for being a combination of its predecessors such  as  Naruto, Fairy Tail, One Piece, and Blue exorcist. Although  having checked it out for myself I have to disagree. 

                                                                      

The story Follows Asta who aspires to become the wizard king despite the fact of possessing no apparent magic abilities and his brother Yuno that on the other hand has a natural inclination for magic. 

                                                                     

Black Clover stands alone and truly has a uniqueness that is enjoyable on its own. The animation quality is better than many other recent anime that have been praised such as dragon ball super where some episodes drop down in quality massively despite being legendary in status. For me Black Clover is a breathe of fresh air, has great potential and would recommend for anyone  who likes anime. and is looking for something new.
